Practitoner Education

Reiki invites us to grow and develop.  Sometimes we can do this simply through our personal practice.  Sometimes we need support, inspiration or guidance from a more experienced person.  As a Reiki master who has been giving Reiki treatments and teaching for over 30 years I have lots of experience to share.  Rather than instruct you, however, my aim is to enable and empower you in your growth and development.  While this may sometimes include conveying information you were not aware of, this is to that you can include and embody it in your own practice.

My goal is to foster the growth of committed, confident and skilled Reiki practitioners in the world, whether or not they are working professionally.

If you would like to become a verified Reiki practitioner and potentially join the CNHC register there are two possible routes, both of which I can support you with.

The first option is to join a verified practitioner course such as mine, on successful completion of which you will be fast-tracked for aproval to join the CNHC register.  You will receive my full support to meet the required standards, as well as a lot more support in developing as a Reiki practitioner.

If you are unable to join the course due to the time constraints, it is also possible to become a verified practitioner (in the UK) through a one-to-one series of tutorials, most of which can be held online.

The second route is through the recognition of prior learning, where you would do your verification as an individual.  This requires you to apply via one of the verifying organisations (look for the Reiki tab).  While some people find this straighforward, others find that there are gaps in their knowledge that need to be filled for successful verification.    I can support initially by helping you to explore how to make a successful application and guide you about what areas you many need to develop.  This would be through a mentoring session.  If you find there are areas you need to learn more about I can offer you one-to-one tutorials that will support you in your learning and development.

If you are already a CNHC registrant you need to complete 15 hours CPD of which 10 hours must be directly relevant to Reiki.  I can support you in achieving this either by exploring with you the sorts of activities that would count towards this or in providing specific support through tutorials, mentoring or supervision. 

I am currently offering a series of practitioner seminars in partnership with The Reiki Association, who will provide CPD certificates for any you attend.  The Reiki Association will also receive a share of the income.  You can find out more about these here.
