Reiki Course Reviews
If you are not feeling confident about your Reiki practice, one of the best things you can do is to review the course.
If you have learned First or Second Degree Reiki with me at some time in the past you are welcome to review the class and there is no charge (although I sometimes make a small charge to cover venue costs). You might also like to come to one of the Follow On Days that I offer from time to time (and for which there is a charge). Click Here for more details.
If you have learned with another Reiki Master there will be a charge and what that is depends partly on what you paid for the previous course you did.
It is important for students of other masters to understand that I may teach a different system or style of Reiki from the one they first learned. I practice and teach Usui Shiki Ryoho in the lineage of Usui, Hayashi, Takata and Furumoto. This does not mean that you can't attend my First Degree class, but it does mean that you need to be aware that you may be becoming a student in a different system. You need to think about whether this is what you want. If you liked the system of Reiki you first learned, it might be better for you to go back to the master you originally learned with to learn more with them. If you are looking for something else, then this may be a good option for you.
You are welcome to contact me to discuss what is the best step for you and to explore further whether you learned the same system of Reiki. You can contact me by clicking here.
First Degree Review
First Degree Review - open to all Reiki Students You would attend any of the First Degree Classes I hold and participate fully in the class, reviewing the hand positions (which may differ from what you were originally taught if it was a different style of Reiki), hearing the history and having the opportunity to ask question. As we do lots of hands on practice in the class, it is also an opportunity to receive lots of Reiki!
You will always hear things you didn't take in the first time you learned Reiki! Also every group of people is different, so there may be different questions that also apply to you. It may also be that having practised for a while, you have questions of your own and this can be a good way to have them answered.
Generally people who review a class do not receive the initiations (sometimes called attunements) because once you have Reiki you don't need them again. However some people feel that they are unsure about whether the initiations they received have worked, so may wish to receive them during the class. If you feel you would like to receive the initiations, please contact me to discuss this.

Second Degree ReviewYou were no doubt quite confident about using your Reiki symbols learned at Second Degree at first, but after a while, especially if you do not practice, you can feel uncertain.
This is when reviewing a Second Degree class is helpful. Like the First Degree review, you will always hear something you didn't hear the first time!
If you have learned a different system of Reiki it would be a good idea to talk about whether this class is suitable for you or whether it would be better to review with the master you learned with as symbols can differ in different lineages.
I'm happy to chat with you about this. Click here to contact me.
